1. Handicapped employees under the central government enjoy 12 days' cl, 4
days extra. They are also entitled to extra 10 days' cl for atending
disability-related programmes, workshops etc.
2They are getting transport allowance twice the normal rate. This amount
ranges from Rs. 1,000 to Rs. 6,400 plus DA, depending on the pay scale.
3. There is no relaxation in matters of attendance.
4. As regards other facilities, cg employees are posted in their native
towns preferably. As per rule, they are expected to be provided with aids
etc. It is not yet implemented though.
5. In West Bengal, conveyance allowance for government employees are Rs. 400
or 5% of the pay. For school teachers it is Rs. 200 maximum still.
