hi, Digital text to jpG image and reversing it through ocr may be an option for non-unicode text documents. But there can be two problems. 1. The inaccuracy of ocr misleads the result. 2. In case of mixed language texts i.e. English and Hindi words in same line which is possible in many cases, the result may become a rubbish! But if a conversion tool be used, it will have no such shortcomings.
