Day 4 Report East Zone Cricket Tournament for the Blind at Ranchi

 

Odisha wins East Zone Cricket Tournament for the Blind Title for the 3rd
consecutive time at Mecon Stadium Ranchi

 

On the 4th day today the final match of the East Zone Cricket Tournament for
the blind was played between Odisha and Bengal.

 

Result of the final Match is as follows:

 

Odisha Vs Bengal

Odisha won the toss and decided to Bat Odisha scored 229 for 7 Wickets in
the stipulated 20 Overs for Odisha opener Pankaj was out for 113 and Lal
Prasad out for 65 for Bengal Suvendu took 3 Wickets, Surojit took 2 Wickets
and Tanumoy took 1 Wicket, chasing the target Bengal managed to score only
124 runs by losing 5 Wickets for Bengal Prasenjit scored 34 not out and
Tanumoy scored 30, for Odisha Pankaj, Sukhram, Jafar and Kalia took a wicket
each. Odisha won the match by 105 runs. Pankaj was adjudged the Man of the
Match.

 

Man of the Series Awards are as follows:

 

B1 Category Md. Jafar

B1 Category Pankaj Bhue

B1 Category Sukhram Majhi

 

Each player participated in the Tournament were given Rs. 1000 from Mecon
Ltd.

 

After the finals Prize distribution was held with few distinguished guest
