THE NATIONAL ASSOCIATION FOR THE BLIND-DELHI has great pleasure in awarding
SHANTI RAGHAVAN "NAB SAROJINI TRILOK NATH AWARD - 2014-15"

 

With varied experience at her back, Shanti Raghavan is the Founder and
Managing Trustee of EnAble India, a non-profit organization that works for
the Economic Independence and dignity of the Visually Impaired across India.
She is transforming attitudes towards their employment and creating a new
market in which the needs of the Corporate Sector are met by a growing group
of Visually Impaired professionals who will dispel the myths and stereo
types about hiring such persons. The primary focus of EnAble India is to
provide computer training to the visually impaired so that they become
employable. Shanti Raghavan with her dedicated team has collaborated with
600+ Companies across 25 cities in 26 sectors - both Private and Public -
across India and have placed 3500+ persons with disabilities.

 

The award ceremony will be held on 1 December 2015. For more about NAB
