that's the reason why i like using and working around the scanners which are twain compliant. at list i get the several choices of using different OCR programs to try with if i am not satisfied with one. considering the fast scanning and instant OCR like openbook, lex etc with the overhead cameras like pearl, lex, readit scholar etc i thought to try it out. i was very much impressed with readit software as it has the option to work with flatbed scanners and of course with it's own hardware readit scholar. also it supports to window 10 platform perfectly. but the limitation i encountered with these camera scanners is that i can not use them with other softwares apart from for which they are locked. so certainly it's a good time that i can try using my pearl with DocuScan. i do also own readit scholar hd so will also try using this hardware. before doing the same, may i please know that has anyone tried using these camera scanners with DocuScan or any other OCR softwares and had any success? please reply. it would be of great source of information. else will have to try myself and will post the results. thanks,
