I just had a look of the recently publicized website exclusively launched for the disabled job-seekers in India. And amazed to note that out of 12 success stories put up there to encourage the employers for hiring them is disproportionately against the visually/hearing impaired. Out of 12 stories only 2 stories are of the visually/hearing impaired. When the quota is of 1 per cent each for the 3 categories respectively, then why this discrimination? I feel the government should soon bring out data about the publick sector employees with disabilities of three categories distinctly. http://www.disabilityjobs.gov.in/frmViewSuccessStory.aspx
