Hi AccessIndia mates?

Congratulations on India's convincing win over Pakistan last weekend and their
narrow victory against Bangladesh just awhile ago!

I have a couple of questions regarding the facilities available to the blind
and visually impaired students at Indian universities.

Are visually challenged students entitled to

1. full or partial exemption in tuition fees and other charges at universities
such as JNU, Univ. of Delhi, Univ. of Mumbai, and the IITs?

2. avail any other special facilities and / or accommodations?

3. admission on some special quota reserved for them? If so, how much is this
reservation?

4. any facilities for studying the Science, Technology, Engineering, and
Mathematics (STEM) subjects?

Regards.

Sincerely,
