National invitation tournament started at Hyderabad Today National invitation tournament started at Hyderabad today organized by Devnar Foundation for the Blind in association with Cricket Association for the Blind in India (CABI). 8 teams are taking part in this tournament which are divided into 2 groups which are as follows: Group A: Gujarat, Karnataka, West Bengal and Telangana. Group B: Andhra Pradesh, Odisha, Uttar Pradesh and Rajasthan. Matches are played at well maintained grounds at Lal Bahadur International Stadium and Gymkhana Grounds of Hyderabad Cricket Association. Today's 4 Match reports are as follows: Match No. 1. Gujarat vs West Bengal Toss won by Gujara t elected to Bat Gujarat scored 234 for the loss of 2 Wickets for Gujarat Ganesh Ganvit scored 75 of 46 Balls, Ketan Patel 60 of 24 Balls and Anil Gariya 57 of 37 Balls for Benal took 1 Wicket. the target Bengal were all out for 97 runs in 20 Overs, for Bengal Mantu Das scored 21 Runs and Hitesh Patel of Gujarat tool 4 Wickets. Gujarat won the match by 137 Runs. Match No. 2. Andhra Pradesh vs Rajasthan won by Rajasthan elected to Bat Rajasthan were all out for 124 Runs for Rajasthan Gokul scored 36, for Andhra Pradesh Ajay Reddy took 3 Wickets for 16 Runs and Pathalinga took 2 Wickets for 30 Runs. Chasing the target Andhra Pradesh reached the target of 125 Runs in 10.2 Overs, for Andhra Pradesh Durga Rao scored 33 and Ajay Reddy scored 21 Runs. Andhra Pradesh won the match by 7 Wickets. Karnataka vs Telangana Toss won by Karnataka elected to Bat Karnataka scored 280 for the loss of 2 Wickets for Karnataka Prakash scored 194 of 80 Balls (40 Boundaries) and Lokesh 53 of 37 Balls for Telangana Venkat Ressy and Madhu took a Wicket each. Karnataka won the match by 137 Runs. Match No. 4. Odisha vs Uttar Pradesh Toss won by Odisha elected to field Uttar Pradesh were all out for 95 Runs in 15.5 Overs, for Uttar Pradesh Faisal scored 16, for Odisha Gananidhi took 2 Wickets for 13 Runs and Md. Jafar also took 2 Wickets for 13 Runs. Chasing the target Odisha reached the target of 96 Runs in 9 Overs, for Odisha Pankaj and Nakul both scored 37 Runs each for Uttar Pradesh Sunny took 1 Wicket for 9 Runs.
