These government departments only make tall claims and do a little.
Some years back, Mr Asif had taken up the issue of the accessibility of
coins with the then governor of RBI.
As of now, nothing has been done by RBI in this regard.

don't become excited. the problem still persist.
1. the CAPTCHA is still in alfa-numeric format. how can we recognise
audio whether it is in caps or small.
2. the DOB field is not accessible with firefox and can be filled with
internet explorer after 2 or 3 retries.
3. the captcha is accessible with firefox but no solution about alfa and
the DOB field is not accessible.
4. the DOB field is accessible with internet explorer but AUDIO captcha
is not working. hence it has become worse than i filed my return in june
2016. and i never faced any accessibility issue while filing my IT return
ITR1.
the claim of accessibility of ITD website is false. why don't this bloody
captcha is to be replaced with OTP. income tax department have enough
money to give mobile service providers for sending OTP through sms.
please don't suggest alternet login method like net banking etc as i am
already doing. and all banks have not linked with income tax login.

In continuation to our mission of being accessible change agent; wanted

take this opportunity to briefly update you all on last meeting at
Bangalore
with income tax of Central Processing unit.
1. They saw the demonstration of assistive technology .
2. 2. Individual return is almost accessible. Audio capcha can
not
be used by IE but it can be use by other brouser such as firefox,
chrone,
etc.
3. 3. They will be working on other forms and they are targeting
April 2017 to make the site completely accessible.
I also had a meeting with Mr. Pramod Barma , chief architect of Aadhaar
and
now Unified payment interphase which is new channel of payment to
merchants
and it is being highly encouraged by Central government. They have
assured
hat they would make this UPI both Android/ IOS app accessible. He also
was
kind enough to offer his assistance to connect with Paytm founder and
will
keep you posted on this initiative.
Requesting all of you to tap your network and let's lobby for
accessibility
and let's speak up for ourself and work diligently to achieve
accessible
India.
