Hi! We were looking at opening an Saving bank account for Score Foundation with Axis Bank. I am the authorised signatory. The paper work was done and at the last moment they wanted me to sign a document saying the the terms and conditions were read out to me and explained to me in Hindi and English and that I understood whatever was explained. I as a visually impaired person needed to sign this document in the presence of two witnesses. I thought this was ridiculous and refused to sign. What do they think, I am some illiterate fool who cannot handle one's affairs? Your views? Is the Bank justified in making the demand of me to sign document which was titled Annexure for VI.
