Dear all Saksham, NAB Delhi and Tagore International School of Delhi organised a unique event of a marathon of book digitization.
About 70 Students and Staff members of Tagore International participated in this marathon. The books were scanned, went through two levels of proof reading and then fully compiled and structured and their metadata uploaded on sugamya Pustakalaya. The Marathon happened from 8:30 to 6:30 PM and in this time 1369 pages of undergraduate courses of the Delhi University were converted into well-structured EPUB format. The titles that were converted in this exercise included the following: 1. Womennof Babylon - 224 pages 2. Environment Society and International relations - 183 pages 3. The Making of South Africa - 211 pages 4. Nation and Nationalism - 160 pages 5. The Americans a hemispherical history - 245 pages 6. Gender in the world history - 191 pages 7. Cracking Up - 100 pages Hats off to the students and staff of the Tagore International School Vasant Vihar, New Delhi who did amazing work with amazing dedication and responsibility.
