The theme of this year's International Day for Disabled Persons is "Decent Work for Persons with Disabilities". Special job fairs were held in Tianjin, Fujian, and Henan. A fair in Tianjin attracted over three hundred disabled people on Monday alone. More than 160 jobs were on offer, including positions for secretaries, accountants and technicians. At least 40 applicants have signed contracts with the employers. The disabled people's federation in Fujian held a special sports meeting. More than 450 disabled people and 200 volunteers participated. Guide dog trainers from China and Japan got together in Shanghai to exchange their experiences.
