Dear Rohit & Amar,
I have not faced any CAPTCHA queries when downloading form 26AS from the
TRACES website. This change (removal of CAPTCHA) has happened since June
2018.
Note that I am accessing the TRACES website after logging into the
Income-tax website & selecting "View 26AS" to go to the TRACES website.
