It's unfortunate that, you guys couldn't make Orca speak.
I have installed ubuntu on at least 20 systems without anybody's help.
It clearly means that, orca totally supports installation and pre-installed 
desktop environment.
After you have reached desktop, activate the run command by pressing alt+f2 
and type orca and press enter.
If orca does not come up speaking, press alt+control+backspace to logout.
Then press enter after hearing the startup sound of a drum. Wait for a few 
minutes for the desktop to come up.
Press alt+f2 to activate the run command. Type Orca and surely, orca will 
come up speaking.
Important. If you have Windows installed on your system with important data 
on it, seak the help of a ubuntu expert for the installation.
