Dear all

I have a doubt that whether invalid carriage 4 wheeler car can be driven by
normal person?.
What is the rule or act says?
I am having left lower limb disabled and recently purchased a car. I have
applied for learner license and got it. After one month when I went for
Driving licence test, the car was driven by my colleague who has normal 4
wheeler driving license . However, motor vehicle inspector started shouting
at us saying that the car should not be driven by normal licence holder and
threatened that he will fine 1500 for driving the invalid carriage car. I
want to know that what is the rule position says? . After i get DL suppose
if I want to go to some place and suddenly fall sick, i need to hire a
driver who has normal driving license and get back to my home. Whether this
is wrong as per law?
Can anyone have knowledge on this?
Thanks
