Subject: [AI] Coins

This is regarding the accessibility of various coins. The Delhi HC had ask
RBI and the Finance Ministry to redesign the coins and show it to MrRungta
and me before proceeding with production. After several back and forths,
yesterday we were shown a set of coins which were distinctly different and
easy to identify. The denominations planned are Rs1/2/5/10/20.

Rs1/5 are round coins with a plane ring round it. The Rs.1 is smaller and
lighter than the Rs5 coin

The Rs2/10 coins are also round but with a serrated edge. Rs2 is smaller and
lighter than Rs10

Rs20 is a bigger coin with a 12 sided edge round it.

The size, weight and feel of each of the coins are distinctly different.

Just sharing an update. These coins now will come into circulation probably
in January, 2020.

Best,

George
