A chatbot for all your disability-information needs Ask a question related to RPWD Act 2016 or read a section, for example "section 28". Know about concepts related to disability such as assistive technology, accessibility, etc. And much more, including important disability dates, for example "when is the World Disability Day?" Basically, everything about disability you always wanted to ask but never knew whom to ask or do not have access to people who can provide you the answers in a simple language. The chatbot is an invaluable resource for persons with disability, disability advocacy groups, organizations working in this field, employers, and for every one of those who has a friend, family or a colleague with disability. Here is an introductory video on the Mera Mitra chatbot. Introduction to Mera Mitra How to use Mera Mitra. Since it is a chatbot that you can use within Google Assistant you don't need to install an extra app on your mobile phone. Just do the following in the beginning: Invoke the Google Assistant app by either saying "OK Google" or by tapping the Google Assistant icon/ button on your device. If the Google Assistant app is in the listening mode, say "talk to Mera Mitra". Since you will be using the chatbot for the first time, it will prompt you to register your name which simply takes a single tap. That's it. The next time you need to ask something of Mera Mitra simply say, "OK Google, talk to Mera Mitra". After that, the chatbot will prompt you to ask your question and it will give you the answer. Alternatively, you can also type in the Google Assistant app to invoke and interact with Mera Mitra. Open the Google Assistant app on your mobile phone, use the composer below & write "talk to Mera Mitra" and hit the send button. Follow the prompts to set up your account and that's it. You can chat with Mera Mitra using text inputs as you chat with any other friend. So, what are you waiting for? "Talk to Mera Mitra" now!
