Well, talks has the nasty habit of announcing caller id in a volume too low!!! 
despite volume being maximum.

I suppose programmers may have thought of privacy smile.

If volume level of 'Talk' (TALK key 5 low & 6 high) is amply raised up, I
don't see a reason why it should be low to hear?  I suppose it's not a
default setting & goes as per ur choice setting of 'Talk' volume.
