Dear friends!
It is indeed a matter of concern that the work of a committee constituted for the purpose of putting together a draft of a revised national policy on persons with disabilities has either not been moving at all, or is moving at a snail's pace. The said committee was constituted way back on the twelvth of July 2018; and, I understand most of us are not even aware of the progress it has made so far in carrying out its mandate of evolving a revised draft. I am pasting below the relevant notification issued by the concerned Department of the Ministry of Social Justice and empowerment, govt. of India for this purpose for your information.
