Hi Pragya and everyone, This is an incorrect information as PIB is not doing any effort from their end to generate accessible image description. These descriptions are automatically generated by the AI deployed by the social media companies / OS level AI.
This post is a classic example of highly inaccurate and misleading information about accessibility which is unfortunately coming from PIB. We must be careful to bring the correct understanding out. On my part, I have already commented on their Facebook post about the inaccurate information. Trust everyone is on the same page.
