Bookshare in partnership with the Xavier’s Resource Centre for the Visually
Impaired, Mumbai [XRCVC] and The Raised Lines Foundation, Delhi is proud to
present an online workshop on ‘Reading and Writing Math’, as a part of its
ongoing series ‘Accessible Reading’.

The session will be held on the 2nd May from 11 Am to 1 PM, using the Zoom
platform.

The unique workshop will cover the following:
Reading accessible EPUB with Math content.
Writing of Mathematics as a linear text in Word without needing to use any
software.
Accessible reading and writing of Mathematics using MathType and MathPlayer.
Using tactile books to supplement E-books for learning concepts of Maths
and Geometry.

This session is a must attend for
Students wishing to take up Maths and Science subjects during their School
and high school studies.
Parents and teachers of the visually impaired students.
Volunteers who wish to support the visually challenged in study of Maths
and Science.

How to register:
Those participants who have attended our past workshops will be
automatically registered for the workshop and they need not re-register.

Those who are joining the workshops for the first time must register with

The registration opens Monday at 9 AM and closes at 3 PM on Friday 1st May.

All the registered participants will be sent the loggin details for Zoom
