Empowerment About Shri Vikash Prasad:
Shri Vikash Prasad is an experienced officer of Indian Railways Store Services 
(IRSS), 1997 batch. He graduated in Civil Engineering from National Institute 
of Technology, Jamshedpur in 1995. He is Post graduate in Public Policy and 
Management from IIM Bangalore in 2015.
He has illustrious experience in the field of Material Management in Indian 
Railways. He has exposure in diverse field levels units of South-Eastern 
Railways.
Shri Prasad has illustrious career for all types of public procurement 
activity. He has excelled as Deputy Chief Material Manager in the Headquarter 
of East Coast Railways, Bhuvneshwar. He has also direct exposure of Project 
setting, at Rail Wheel Plant at Bela near Patna, which has annual capacity of 
production of 1 lakh Railway Wheels. Shri Prasad joined the Department of 
Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities (D) in Nov., 2016 as Director 
in-charge of Accessible Indian campaign, Unique Disability ID Card, Deen Dayal 
Disabled Rehabilitation Scheme, District Disability Rehabilitation Centre, 
Administration etc. Under Accessible India Campaign, Shri Prasad has been a 
champion working for the programme Launched by Honorable PM in December 2015, 
the Accessibility of Built-up environment, Transport System and ICT 
Accessibility is to be Ensured under his guidance.
