NAB Delhi is pleased to announce its annual national level awards on the
International Day of Persons with Disabilities 

 

NAB Sarojini Trilok Nath National Award is a prestigious award that has been
given to top personalities and organizations working for the disabled. This
year too, NAB Delhi is proud to anounce the worthy recipients of this award.


 

1.      Best Individual - Prof. Anil Aneja,  Eminent Social Worker,
Disability Activist and Educator 

2.      Best Role Model - Ajay Minocha, IIM alumnus, CFA Charter holder and
financial analyst in international bank 

3.      Best Institution - L.V. Prasad Eye Institute, one of the most
respected eye care and rehabilitation institute 

4.      Best CSR - REC Foundation, directly impacting lives of thousands of
disabled along with numerous other projects for the society

NAB Madhu Sharma Young Achiever Award is being conferred on Danish Mahajan
for his outstanding contributions to the society. This award is given for
achievements in non-academic field. Daniksh Mahajan has founded Radio Udaan,
a internet radio run by visually impaird. It has proven to be a great source
of information and entertainment for everyone. It has also provided a much
needed platform for visually impaired to showcase their talents and has also
served as an important tool for advocacy of disability rights.

Another Award, NAB Delhi Award for Excellence has been instituted to honour
ex-students and trainees who despite their visual disability have achieved
excellence in their chosen fields. Every year NAB Delhi honours four persons
with blindness or low vision that have performed remarkably in their chosen
field and carved out a place of pride in the society. NAB Delhi believes
that these awards will inspire the present student and trainees to perform
to their potential and aspire to achieve excellence in whatever they do.

 

All the award winners named below are 100% visually impaired. They have been
associated with NAB Delhi since their pre-schooling days. These young blind
persons have made us proud by carving a place for themselves in some of the
biggest organizations of the world. 

 

1.      Sana Samad - HR Manager with ONGC 

2.      Kameshwari Rao - I.T. Executive with Google 

3.      Paawan Malhotra - Executive with Microsoft 

4.      Avichal Bhatnagar - Professor in Delhi University
