Friends, While doing some research for purchasing a new car, it is learned that Department of Heavy Industry, Ministry of Heavy Industries and Public Enterprises, (Government of India) is providing GST concession to PWDs. The same thing, I have enquired with my VI friends also. And I was told that few of the VI persons have already availed this facility. When I was going through the details in https://dhi.nic.in/UserView/index?mid=2408 it is understood that the concession is applicable to only persons with orthopedic physical disability. If my knowledge is correct, it was applicable to all category earlier. I would like to know that anyone in our list has availed this facility? And, Attention of Association/Organisation is invited with a request to give a representation for extending this facility to other categories also. Seeking views/suggestion from all.
