NSS Units GDC Kathua started fund raising drive for the blinds on the eve of Flag Day of the Blind Jammu, October 29: On the eve of Flag Day of the Blind on 3rd December 2021, NSS units Gdc Kathua started fund collection drive for the cause of the welfare of the blinds This drive was started from the Chamber of the Principal GDC Kathua today.NSS Units Gdc Kathua got flags from the National Federation of the Blind Jammu Kashmir UT Branch .
The federation is supposing to establish a computer training centre for unemployed visually impaired persons at their respective existing property at National Federation of Blind near Ved Mandir, Amphalla Jammu.This is an annual feature of the fund collection drive for the welfare of the Blind persons . This Federation has been working since last 50 years empowering visually impaired persons and enhancing their skill to enable them to become self sufficient specially for getting jobs in public and private sector.Volunteers appealed all staff members and students to donate generously for the cause of the welfare of the blinds.
