hmm, this is an interesting problem. Well if you are living in place away from the city, then raring a cat would be a good option, but raring a cat in the city could be a bit tricky, although not impossible. I think a sticky pad is a reasonable option. I have not used it though. I am curious to know will the rat not come back after you leave it outside using the sticky pad?
