Hello team, I feel that we should protest against the repressive scribe guidelines for UPSC exam. I couldn't appear for preliminary exams for last 3 years because scribe refused to cooperate on exam day. aspiring candidate has to submit scribe details during online application in few months advance. Scribe provided by UPSC lack reading and writing skills. I had attended once exam with scribe provided by UPSC but I was not satisfied so skiped General Study ii papaper. How can we overcome this challenge? I feel that we should demand for computer based exam where UPSC should provide computer without internet connect connection with limited access to apps so there won't be any instance of mal-practices. Candidate will write exam in MS word. Pandemic has made sittuation more difficult. What if my scribe dies due to covid infection?, What if some emergency arises in scribe's family? I feel Visually Impaired candidate will have to suffer for no falt. I earn more than enough to sustain a life still I wish to get in to the administrative field because i'm elegible and capable candidate. I feel that technology is enabler we should demand for independent exam writing.
