Hi List Members,
With utmost humility, I urge all the members to use proper matrix for
grievance redressal. This helps the authorities to collate the data on
different categories of complaint. Social media is not an official channel
of grievance redressal. Also, RBI Governor is not the authority for
grievance redressal of individual customers. RBI has a dedicated department
for grievance redressal, namely RBI Ombudsman. If anyone has any grievance
regarding any banking service one should give a written complaint to the
concerned bank via either e-mail, registered post or hand delivery of
complaint letter against acknowledgement by the bank official. The
complaint letter should include name, mobile number, e-mail (if any),
correspondence address of the complainant, name & address o f bank branch,
account number or loan account number (as the case may be), facts of the
complaint, loss or inconvinience caused to the complainant, regulatory
guidelines on the subject matter.

If the bank does not resolves the complaint or does not replies within 30
calander days, register a formal complaint to RBI Ombudsman at
https://cms.rbi.org.in
In the RBI complaint, besides the above details date of correspondence with
the bank should be mentioned. Also, relevant documentary evidence in
support of the complaint should be attached.

Coming to the specific queries of Mr. Ameo,
1. The net banking website of SBI www.onlinesbi.com is completely
accessible. In fact, it is the best among all Indian banks as per my
knowledge.
2. The YONO app is hardly accessible. However, YONO Lite is accessible.
3. SBI staff insists strongly on installation of YONO app as they have
target for installing the YONO app which is reported to the higher ups on a
daily basis.
4. all the issues faced exclusively by persons with vision impairment are
addressed in below 2 circulars of RBI
a) Banking facilities to senior citizens and the disabled dated 9th
November, 2017
b) Para 9 and para 10 of Master circular on customer service in banks dated
1st July, 2015
Both the circulars can be found on RBI website www.rbi.org.in under
Notification

5) Those who have access to internet banking of their respective banks need
not go to bank branch for issuance of ATM card. ATM card can also be
applied by logging in to net banking website or mobile banking app of
concerned bank.

Hope this helps.

Regards
Harshit Lohia
