Pleased to inform Union Bank of India on winning the 23rd NCPEDP- LTIMindtree Helen Keller 2022 under Category C - Role Model Companies/NGOs/Institutions. This award is among India’s most prestigious recognitions for people and organizations working to promote equal employment opportunities for Persons with Disabilities (PWDs). Union Bank of India is developing inclusive workplace as part its equal opportunity program, regular sensitization through disability events celebrations, e-Learning training modules on disability awareness, accessible training material, specially designed trainings for employees with disabilities, providing reasonable accommodations and assistive technologies, additional travel conveyance and financial assistance schemes. Bank is enhancing digital accessibility for employees and customers through its ambitious project Union Access and has set up an Inclusion Cell at the Central Office, Human Resource Department for employees with disabilities. The presentation ceremony for the Helen Keller Awards will be held on Saturday, 10th December 2022 in an in-person ceremony in New Delhi.
