The Accessibility Handbook on Rights and Entitlements of Person with Disabilities (PwD) is born out as a hope of bringing together all that exists to serve, support and empower people with disabilities under one umbrella and to bridge the information hiatus and assist them in accessing their rights and entitlements. It has been brought together with a realisation that a barrier is not a person’s lack of ability, but a system’s disability to serve those who it is out to serve. Like everything which has been brought into the world with hope of service this handbook has been built with support from a resolute community of people who shared the Commission’s vision for the Compendium and believed in its potential. This book has been specially made for our visually impaired friends, accessible in an Epub text and Audio format, available in English and Hindi medium.
