We hope this message finds you in good health and high spirits. The
Blind Graduates Forum Of India (BGFI) is delighted to invite you to
our annual event, The Readers and Writers Day. This event is an
opportunity for us to acknowledge and express our gratitude to our
readers and writers, who selflessly open up the printed world to us.
We also take this opportunity to celebrate the achievements of our
young blind graduates.

After a two-year gap due to the pandemic, we are thrilled to announce
that The Readers and Writers Day is back, and it will take place on
Sunday, Mar 19th, from 3:00 to 5:00 PM, at The Muncherjee Nowrojee
Banajee Industrial Home for the Blind, Chateau Dieu 280, Swami
Vivekananda Rd, Jogeshwari West, Mumbai, Maharashtra 400102.

Registration Eligibility:
Students graduated in 2022 from any bachelors’ course, only 1 reader
and writer per student and the student should have cleared all the
examinations of the course.

Kindly note that the registration link is only for the blind
graduates, eligible to be felicitated .
If you wish to attend the event, but do not meet the above eligibility
criteria, you can simply walk in for the event. You are not required
to fill up the registration form.

About the Speakers:
Like every year, this year too, we have two incredible speakers who
are sure to peak your interest, Mr. Raghavendra Satish Peri and Ms.
Muskan Gupta.

Mr. Raghavendra Satish Peri is a digital Transformation specialist,
working with small & large enterprises in the areas of digital
accessibility & digital marketing. He authors an Accessibility Blog at
DigitalA11Y.com & is galvanizing the adoption of accessibility by
inspiring the local tech community with meetups and mentorship. When
away from his computer, Raghava can be found at local cafés &
restaurants, listening to audiobooks, or writing on his Personal Blog.
Ms. Muskan Gupta is a graduate in electrical engineering from National
Institute of Technology, Nagpur. She currently works with Citi India
as a technology analyst. She has also recently got enrolled in the MBA
program of the Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad with 99.5
percentile. She developed visual impairment during her 12th standard
and will be sharing her experiences of actively learning and
unlearning things on the go.
