Anirudh, It may take more time for you to understand the stuff and slightly longer to find a suitable opportunity but it is definitely doable. Post the completion of your course, you may not be able to streight away start with a big company i.e. Accenture/ MS/ Google but once you have some experience, it would hold greater value than a so-called maths/ statistics degree.
