Now that doesn't sound too difficult for someone like me. I'm always told to
stop swinging my head. Apparently those born blind have a tendency to do
that unusually more than sightlings. Even as I grow older I haven't fully
overcome this. Of course to be serious this discussion assumes doing it in a
systematic way for getting the full field of vision.

I had a chance to try the device on a recent visit to Bangalore.
Yes, improvements are in the works. However, the device is useful as it
stands. The reading feature does work well but I was more interested in the
walking assistant. It is extremely handy if you are going sighted guide
because it does detect obstacles and gives you a distance reading. Moreover,
you can scan for what is around you and not rely totally on the assistant.
Yes, because the device uses AI, it as of this writing is unable to name all
obstacles. However, it did detect staircases which was my primary use case.
One thing with this device and with any other solution using a head mounted
camera.

It is very good for reading purpose and not other features like walking
around, identifying steps and identifying people; it says near to the truth
like a man with 25 years looking happy and so on.
They are trying to improve services after getting suggestions from users.
