Hi friends, I’m thinking about compiling a Complete list of Talkback braille keyboard commands for the QWERTY keyboard.
There are many use cases for this. For example someone may want to include the ` character in a password, which is next to the number 1 key on the QWERTY keyboard, easy does it, but when using the Talkback braille keyboard on the phone, they will need to know how to duplicate that character for the password in braille. Since most blind people from birth use Grade 2 (contracted) braille, I’ll start with this first. If it’s already been done please let me know. Otherwise if you’re interested in collaborating with this effort please contact me. I’m still trying to find the braille commands for many of these for myself and can do with some help. For now I’m looking for the Slash and Backslash commands which I need to use most often, particularly for typing URLs in braille, or for representing Windows-based folder paths in braille, respectively.
