The newsonair app both on Android and IOS had a major upgrade. The
usability has dropped considerably thereafter.
DD is still lagging for providing audiodescription.
Would MA too take this up?

Hi all, on behalf of Mission Accessibility and Whose Knowledge, we are
organizing a conversation on 16th March in Delhi as part of a project
on advancing language justice for persons with visual disabilities in
South Asia. This project is being co-designed by “Whose Knowledge?”
and a set of six independent researchers from Pakistan, India and
Bangladesh.
We are looking for women with visual disabilities who access hindi
language content (primarily, and not English) and use digital
technologies. Together, we hope to discuss and articulate issues and
learnings for understanding how to create better and more accessible
digital technologies and multilingual online spaces.
We are bearing the cost of attendance and providing an honorarium as
well. If anyone here knows of a woman/women with visual impairment
who consume Hindi content online and otherwise, please let me know! It
will be very helpful.
We can also accommodate out of Delhi participants and have the space
to fund travel and stay for assistants.
