Karna Vidya Foundation is looking for enthusiastic male and female visually impaired and special educator teachers to promote digital literacy among visually impaired students. Company Info: Introduction to Karna Vidya Foundation: Our primary vision and mission are to empowering person with visual impairment through technology. The foundation provides career guidance, vocational, and employability skills training enabled by technology. We offer need-based training for those with sudden onset of visual impairment in mid-life. We develop and publish accessible reading and learning materials in DAISY, EPUB, and audio formats for various educational and competitive exam preparations in collaboration with Bookshare.org, an international online accessible library. We also support children with visual impairments in schools with STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics) education through volunteer engagement. Our Karna Vidya Reading Centre and Library provide reading and recording sessions for visually impaired individuals. Responsibilities: • Train and instruct students. • Design and develop instructional material for end-users and learners. • Design, implement, and administer training schedules. • Evaluate and assess student progress and implement new technologies and methodologies in training. • Assist and support other personnel in classroom management. • Review and evaluate trainee needs and design appropriate course material. • Integrate best practices in training schedules, procedures, and issues. Required Skills: • Proficient in teaching the mentioned subjects using a computer. • Skilled in handling students. • Proficient in operating technology with the help of screen reading software. • Good problem-solving abilities.
