This collaboration marks an important step toward enhancing access to banking and learning resources for individuals with print disabilities. through this initiative Bank aspires to; * Employees and customers with print disabilities can now access over 6.5 lakh accessible books in multiple formats, including DAISY, Braille, audiobooks, e-text, accessible PDFs, and large print. * Union Bank of India will make its reading resources and content for employees and customers available in accessible formats through Sugamya Postnatally. * Union bank of India print impaired staff members will also gain access to international repositories such as Book share, expanding their knowledge resources. * The initiative supports inclusive learning and professional development by providing accessible study materials, financial education, and other learning content. * By integrating accessibility into banking and learning, the bank is strengthening its commitment to equal access and financial inclusion for persons with disabilities.
