Hello everyone,

Hope y’all are having an amazing day! I’m planning to upgrade my laptop and
am considering buying a Mac machine this time.

I have been a Windows user for the last ten years and it will be my first
ever Mac venture. So I would love to hear firsthand experiences of owning a
Mac as a visually impaired user—particularly in terms of software,
accessibility, and the availability of assistive technologies like NVDA and
other tools we commonly use on PCs.

Looking forward to hearing from you all, as your insights will help me make
an informed decision.

Thanks in advance!

Cheers,
Uma Shankar
