Namaskar!

Sagar Verma already clearly wrote that "It has been tested by myself on Android
and iPhone". He even expressed desire to do the recorded demo of the same. Why
then this question he already answered?
As far as loging in to app is concerned, I did not face any captcha at all.
Whether captcha solving was an issue or not, I can't comment. Perhaps it's due
to I did not register as new user.
The app presented many options for loging in or for new registration. Like
loging with mobile number, via google, or even using irctc credentials. I put
my irctc user id and password, it stated this data already exist with irctc
portal, use option of registering via irctc credentials. I did so and
everything went smoothly. No captcha, only mobile OTP and that's all. all my
previous journeys, my passenger list and all else is visible on this app. I
also created new PIN, this experience is not that good, but it happens with
many applications. Even I enabled biometric login without any issue. So,
punching PIN is also not required, just touch the finger pring sensor (Face ID)
for IPhone users and you are in.
Not yet booked any ticket, hence can't make any comment on that process. All I
stated here is based on Android version experience of the app. But it has to be
absolutely same on IOS since Sagar already told this.

thing is it is fully accessible on both platforms

  1) Have you tried this out with both Android and IoS?
  2) From the play store screenshots it showed a visual pattern CAPTCHA to be
filled seemingly after password / MPIN. How is this accessible by any stretch
of imagination? And in a standalone mobile app, what even is the point of so
much authentication?

So the new rail one application is now available for IOS and Android. The
good thing is the layout is very very simple and it's very easy for an Android
user and an iPhone user to book tickets now no more frustrations. The only
thing is one has to solve the capture. There is no OTP option but the thing is
now very very reliable. It has been tested by myself on Android and iPhone. If
you want I can also record it
