Hi UDIT,

Thank you for your kind wishes and advice. I wanted to share an update on
my interview experience, in case it proves helpful to others in a similar
position.

My interview generally went well, and I was actually quite surprised that
there were no questions at all regarding my disability or how I manage my
work independently. The discussion focused entirely on my resume, personal
interests, and my perspective on teamwork.

However, there were a few points where I feel I could have handled things
better:

The interview was held in an unfamiliar room, and I wasn't aware of the
layout beforehand. As a result, the interviewer had to assist me with
navigation, which might have been perceived as a sign of dependence.

When asked about my family, I mentioned that my family has a business. This
led the interviewer to probe further, indirectly trying to ascertain if I
intended to eventually join or start a family business. I tried to
emphasize my long-term commitment to the company, as I understand they look
for candidates with such dedication. The interviewer, however, persisted in
trying to get me to agree that I might consider joining or starting a
business at some point in my life.

It was not communicated to us beforehand that the company is only hiring
for its Mumbai office. Given the high cost of living in Mumbai, I had been
hoping to secure a position in my hometown to avoid the burden of
significant fixed costs like rent. I communicated this preference to the
team during the interview.

Thanks,
Naman
