Getting the name corrected in the UID is easy. On the Unique identity portal, click name correction or something similar and type the name as it appears in your Aathar. Submit your Aathar as the supporting document and it will take some days or even weeks for it to be changed. After the change is reflected, then try applying for the railway card again. Note: They have some file size requirement for uploading supporting documents and the portal will not accept it if your document exceeds that size.
