I have only one request-please tone down the writing by artificial
Intelligence. Here is a definite give away “This version is intentionally not
promotional and keeps the focus on why you are sharing the PDF with Access
India and what the document represents.”

Others don’t read everything sent on this group but I do so I would have
preferred something short written by a human.

Subject: [AI] Sharing the Aroma & Elegance Annual Guidebook – One Year of
Community Discussions

Dear Access India Team,

Greetings from the Aroma & Elegance WhatsApp Community.

We are pleased to share with you our first Annual Guidebook, compiled from one
year of discussions within our WhatsApp community, which was created primarily
for visually impaired individuals.

Aroma & Elegance was started on 14 August 2025 with the aim of creating a space
where visually impaired individuals could come together to share experiences,
practical knowledge, ideas, and perspectives on accessible and independent
living.

Over the past year, our members have discussed 26 different topics covering
various aspects of everyday life, including technology, shopping, dining,
travel, public spaces, personal care, services, and other situations where
accessibility plays an important role. These discussions have been based
largely on the experiences, observations, suggestions, and practical approaches
shared by our members.

We are sharing this Annual Guidebook with the Access India mailing group
because we believe that the experiences of people who encounter accessibility
challenges in their everyday lives can provide a valuable community
perspective. The intention is not to present these discussions as established
facts or professional guidance, but simply to document what our members have
experienced, learned, and discussed among themselves.

Disclaimer

The information in this Guidebook represents the personal experiences,
observations, opinions, and discussions of members of the Aroma & Elegance
community. It has not been scientifically validated and should not be
considered professional advice, an accessibility standard, or universally
applicable guidance.

Individual experiences may vary depending on a person's level of vision,
assistive technology, location, environment, available services, and personal
circumstances. The Guidebook therefore reflects the diversity of experiences
within our community rather than presenting a single approach that will apply
to everyone.

Our purpose in sharing this document is to contribute a lived-experience
perspective to the wider conversations around accessibility, inclusion,
dignity, and independent living. We hope it may be of interest to accessibility
professionals, organizations, researchers, and members of the broader
disability community.

Please find the Annual Guidebook attached for your reference.

We would be grateful if the experiences and perspectives shared by our members
can contribute, even in a small way, to greater understanding of the practical
realities of accessibility and the everyday lives of visually impaired
individuals.

Thank you for taking the time to read and consider our community's experiences.

Warm regards,

Aroma & Elegance Team
