These days, Samsung devices are performing really poorly, especially for those of us who rely on accessibility features. TalkBack lags constantly, and Explore by Touch doesn't work properly. Sometimes I tap on an item and TalkBack takes a few seconds to announce it, or it reads the wrong element entirely. Swiping between items feels sluggish, and the focus often jumps around or gets stuck. For a screen reader user, this isn't a small inconvenience; it makes the phone frustrating to use for everyday tasks like reading messages, making calls, or browsing apps.
What makes it worse is that I had this bitter experience with flagship phones. When you spend a premium price on a device, you expect it to be smooth and reliable. Instead, I found myself fighting with the phone just to get simple things done. So OnePlus will be my next choice. In the 30,000 to 50,000 rupee range, you can get a good OnePlus phone with strong performance, a clean interface, and fewer unnecessary apps slowing things down. In my opinion, spending that much money on a Samsung device just isn't worth it right now. I'd also recommend that anyone who depends on TalkBack try a phone in person, or check reviews from other screen reader users, before buying.
