Hi again,

The following is the eligibility criteria for
admission in IIT Madras. If you do not fall into any
of these categories, then you can always join a normal
business school. They too offer MBA in IT.

1)B.E./ B.Tech. (or equivalent) with First Class (or
equivalent) from a recognized    Institution or
University OR
2)A Master's degree with First Class (or equivalent)
in any discipline from a    recognized Institution or
University.
3)Final year students are also eligible to apply. Such
candidates, if selected, will be   admitted
provisionally, on the condition that they complete all
requirements for   the qualifying degree before the
start of the programme and produce provisional
certificate of completion within two months of
joining
the programme.

Sponsored Candidates:

Candidates may be sponsored by their employers to
pursue an MBA at IIT Madras. They must have a minimum
of two years of work experience in the sponsoring
organisation. These candidates are exempted from the
JMET. They will be selected on the basis of their
performance in the interview & group task and a
separate written test.
