Delhi: Wouldn't it be lovely if you could call your friends internationally for
very little cost or text them for free?
Nimbuzz, an innovative software enables you to do just that. It offers an
all-in-one solution for free mobile VoIP calling, conference calling, instant
messaging, chat and group chat, and photo and file sending across multiple IM
communities, including Skype, MSN, Google Talk, Yahoo!, AIM, Jabber and ICQ,
plus 23 social networks, including Facebook and Myspace.
Once users download the Nimbuzz application for the mobile and register as a
new user, contacts from their selected IM communities are aggregated into
a single contact list with icons indicating real-time 'presence'.
"If you're used to Skype, Nimbuzz is a piece of cake. It basically aggregates
other communities like MSN, Google Talk and Yahoo and people can actually
chat or even call them. You can send files for free, take photos and share them
and much more," says Evert Jaap Lugt Founder and CEO of Nimbuzz.
"You can download it for free and it is easy to use. The only concern is the
rates offered by service providers. For calling a person, the user has to
dial in a local number to connect to the receiver through VoIP, and it's still
cheaper than having to call someone in the US from India," he adds.
Friends online
The new six-button 'Communicator' widget brings free calling, chat, text and
voice messaging and file sending to social networks, email signatures and
personal websites or blogs.
The Nimbuzz software and the IM and Text Message Service are completely free.
PC calls from Nimbuzz are also free. Mobile calls however, are charged at
local fixed line calling rates. This will change when the company releases
their Mobile VoIP solution when all calls can be made for free. "You don't have
to own a fancy phone to be able to use this software. If you can browse the
Internet on your phone, you can use Nimbuzz," says Evert.

The Nimbuzz Mobile application lets you call, chat, conduct a group chat, send
text messages, share photos, music, videos, send voice messages, manage
your address book and much more. It also offers superior calling capabilities
with crystal clear sound.
The Nimbuzz PC application lets you do all the things that you can do from your
phone plus more. You can buzz the friends you find online. You can place
the widget on your profile page, website or blog, where your friends can call,
chat or text you for free. They can also send you voice messages as well
as ringtones, photos and video. Looks like we all have more reasons to flaunt
our mobile know-how!
