Pursuing designing may be a tougher thing. Given his condition, he is
likely to be exploited. I am sure he can think about a career shift to
do marketing of textile product (given his knowledge of textile and
related areas) or think of an entirely different career path.

Subject: [AI] Need proper guidance from you all for a
visually-challengedcandidate with B.tech in textile.

Dear Friends,

I recently met a visually-challenged person with 70% eye-vission, who
had
done B.tech in textile in 2003. He did his schooling and Engineering all
in
normal school and college; upto his engineering, he didn't aware of any
special school or training institute for Visually-challenged persons. In

2005 he had some basic computer training with JAWS in an NGO and got
placement, but the salary was around 2,500. After that he changed his
job
related to his own field, again he is not satisfied with his job due to
various reasons (low-salary, not cooperation from other staff management
and
so on.) Now he is doing MBA through distance mode.

I request you all to give your suggestions and your oppinion,

What can he do next? What would be his current position in job market
with
B.tech in textile with his Visual impairment? Will Jaws support for
designing and other application related to his textile job?

Please share your views to me, with your help I can guide him to the
best.
