PDF file which so opens is that containing links to individual chapters, or that's what I found at least!
You have to download each chapter individually and compile it into book format, if you like as I have done for a number of my friends at times. by going to URL suggested by me you are saved the pain of selecting class etc. as well as you get an entire book. Well, if there is any other method better than URL suggested by me which is a link dump, I would welcome it. That's what I was wondering about. When you go to the NCERT textbook download page, you only have to make selection from the class, the subject, and the title of the book combo box. Press enter on the go button. The link that says "click to enter" will appear. Press enter and the pdf file would open.
