Manoj, what masses are you talking of?
Each of those individuals who form "the Masses "also have to pay for the
calls etc. This is a recurring expense which needs income to support.

My plumber, sweeper, watchman and electrician all have mobile phones in the
range of Rs. 1000 -Rs. 2000 and they have to additionally pay for their
calls like the rest of the world.
What we need is mobile phones which are in the same range but which are
accessable. This should be a norm and not a special offer for the
challenged.

As far as whether I can afford an expensive phone or not is concerned I
would be happy and probably the first person to change to the cheapest
mobile that works for me.
Anyway manoj best of luck in your endeavour its evry effort that counts and
I wish you the very best in this effort.
