Pinnacle launches upgraded version of editing software New Delhi (PTI): Home video editing solutions provider Pinnacle Systems on Wednesday launched an upgraded version of its software, priced between Rs 3,500-Rs 8,000 in the country. The new version -- Pinnacle Studio Version 12 -- would be available in the country from the end of this month, Pinnacle India Country Manager Ashish Bakshi said. However, along with the hardware the software is priced between Rs 17,900 and Rs 19,900, he added. "Video editing is increasingly becoming popular, both as a hobby and as a profession, and the use of video editing is not restricted to people from younger age," Bakshi said. The new version comes with features like direct uploading on YouTube and 3gp format output for viewing videos on mobile phones, sharing videos. Bakshi said consumers who are using the earlier version of the software can also upgrade to the new version by paying Rs 3,000-Rs 4,000. Pinnacle is also working to launch low-cost products also for the home segment, he added.
