I use online banking regularly. Do not share your access credentials with
anyone.

Do not store them in plain text on your computer.

Do not access your bank from a public terminal.

If your bank supports this, enable the alert feature where you get sms and
e-mail alerts when transactions happen.

Subject: [AI] Safety about online banking?

Hi friends, I have just opened an NRI account with ICICI bank. Well, despite
I am not the account holder, it's on someone else's name, but, I will be the
one to access it. As I hear a lot about the crimes on the internet, I
wanted to know, how safe is it to access the account online? Is there any
precautionary measure or any safety guide lines, I can follow? Awaiting for
your valuable advices and thanking you all in anticipation.
